Blight: Survival Provisional Weapon Tier List

Speculative rankings for learning — not final patch gospel.

Blight: Survival Weapon Tier List (Pre-Release)

This Blight: Survival weapon tier list is explicitly provisional. The game is unreleased, balance will change, and some archetypes are only lightly shown. Use the list to prioritize practice order, not to flame strangers in Discord.

Ranking criteria

We weigh: forgiveness for new players, posture potential, crowd safety, extract reliability, and how often the archetype appears in official footage. We do not invent DPS numbers.

S-tier practice picks (pre-release)

One-handed swords — S for learning. Best on-ramp into directional melee. Strong default for Getting Started players and flexible in both Solo and Co-op.

A-tier high-skill converters

Daggers — A. Huge payoff if you already understand spacing and finisher conversion (Posture & Finishers). Riskier when surrounded.

A/B flexible heavies

Zweihander-style heavies — A for posture, B for chaos rooms. Excellent at creating breaks; punishing on whiffs. Bring a plan for adds and consider a shield partner (Parry & Shields).

B-tier TBA slots

Future ranged kits — B until shown. Planned, but unranked in detail until move sets appear in official media. Specialty polearms or unique legendaries — unranked until revealed.

Situational notes

Armored human packs may elevate blunt-leaning heavies. Fast infected may elevate daggers or one-handers. Biome topology like Marshlands can punish long recoveries if footing or camera gets messy.

How to use this list in a playtest

Main an S/A comfort pick for your first three hours. Spend one hour only on your curiosity pick. File feedback if something feels over/under tuned (Playtest).

What would move rankings

Official damage type charts, stamina numbers, multiplayer scaling, and new weapon reveals from Developer Updates. We will restamp this article when those land.

Reminder

If a streamer claims a god-tier secret weapon from a private build, wait for corroboration. This wiki prefers official or widely distributed footage.

Alternate ranking axes

Rank for posture creation and heavies climb. Rank for solo fog maps and faster blades climb. Rank for beginner forgiveness and one-handers stay glued on top. When someone disagrees with this provisional Blight: Survival list, ask which axis they are secretly optimizing.

Practice loop for Weapon Tier List

Turn this page into a weekly habit: pick one claim from the sections above, test it against the latest official Blight: Survival trailer or FAQ wording, and write a single sentence you would tell a squadmate. Prefer decisions you can rehearse—spacing, extract timing, loadout comfort—over memorizing unverified numbers.

What to ignore for now

Skip leaked calendars, fake key sellers, and influencer “day-one meta” sheets. For Weapon Tier List, the useful prep is confirmed systems, honest TBA labels, and a short personal checklist you can execute in a playtest lobby without opening ten rumor tabs.

After the next official update

When Behaviour or Haenir publish new footage, return here and mark which Weapon Tier List assumptions still hold. Update your notes with the trailer date, keep Steam and Discord as primary sources, and revise only the paragraphs that new evidence actually changes.

Squad briefing template

Share three bullets max: what Weapon Tier List changes about your first mission, which linked wiki page teammates should read next, and one risk you refuse to take until you have hands-on time. Short briefings beat essay dumps when coordinating Blight: Survival sessions.

Feedback-ready questions

If you enter a playtest after reading about Weapon Tier List, prepare two concrete feedback prompts—one about feel, one about clarity. Vague praise helps less than “telegraph X was unreadable in fog” or “extract UI hid the timer behind inventory.”

When you revisit Weapon Tier List after a new Blight: Survival reveal (pass 1), rewrite one personal rule, one loadout preference, and one link you will send friends. Dated notes beat vague confidence while systems are still iterating.
